Boomi Enterprise Platform regions and destinations
Platform regions
The Boomi Enterprise Platform offers two deployments: platform.boomi.com in North America and platform.gb.boomi.com in Europe. These platforms are entirely separate - existing users, processes, or components can not be shared across Platforms. Some services available in the North American Platform are not available yet in the European Platform instance.

Connecting to a Platform
In many situations, no network or firewall configurations are necessary for a runtime, runtime cluster, or runtime cloud to communicate with Boomi. However, if your network policy blocks all outbound or inbound traffic, you need to configure the network to allow basic runtimes, runtime clusters, and runtime clouds to:

Be installed locally

Communicate with the Boomi Enterprise Platform and with any other external web services.

Make web service calls to the runtime clouds and Hub Clouds.

Accept requests from the Boomi runtime clouds and Hub Clouds.
Your local basic basic runtimes, runtime clusters, and runtime clouds need to communicate with the Boomi Enterprise Platform and related destinations. The URLs and IP addresses for these destinations vary based on your instance of the Boomi Enterprise Platform.
