Editing file and folder properties

You can access and edit file or folder properties in the MFT Explorer.

Viewing file or folder properties

• Right-click the file and then select Properties.
  The Properties window appears.

Editing general properties

1. Edit the following information:
   • Name of the file.
   • Description (optional)
2. Click OK.

Editing publishing preferences

You can create or edit default settings for publishing by clicking View/Edit Defaults.

• To create a new request, click New Request and follow the on-screen prompts.

  • To edit the details of a published file, do the following:

    1. Click Edit Details.
    2. In the Publishing Request Details window, change any details as required.
    3. Click Save.

  • To disable the file from downloading, click Remove Request. The link is disabled immediately.
