Using MFT explorer add-in

You can use the MFT Explorer Add-in to send and manage your files and folders stored in MFT without using a web browser.

Downloading MFT Explorer add-in

The latest version of the MFT Explorer Add-in is packaged with the MFT Outlook Add-in. You can download the latest build from  https://softwaredelivery.thruinc.net/Publishing/Default.aspx?CollectionID=3LCYSCOKZCT2U.

Installing MFT Explorer add-in

You can install the MFT Explorer bundled with the MFT Microsoft Outlook Add-in using https://softwaredelivery.thruinc.net/Publishing/Default.aspx?CollectionID=3LCYSCOKZCT2U.

The setup changes depending on your installation: Install, Upgrade, or Repair. Upgrading from a previous version or repairing it to address any issue from previous installation.

1. Download MFT Explorer.

2. Locate and run the setup.exe file.

3. Choose the appropriate mode and click Next.

4. The MFT installer verifies that your system can run the "Add-in" and checks whether you have all the prerequisites for the install.

   • You should see three green checks if all necessary components are available.
   • You must accept the licensing agreement.

5. Click Next, and the Setup Wizard shows options to install the MFT Explorer Add-In.
6. Select the right components.
   • If the Setup Wizard detects a previous configuration, you can choose to use the previous configuration or update it.

7. Click Finish.
