Basic runtime setup
After setting up a basic runtime, you can run processes on one or more runtimes. You can set up basic runtimes locally on a computer within your network if the integration scenario includes local resources.
You also can set up your processes to run virtually on a runtime within a Boomi runtime cloud (or in another runtime cloud if you have access to one) if your integration scenario requires only internet-accessible applications or data locations.

When setting up a runtime, keep in mind that you must use the corresponding platform. European Runtime clouds for the European Platform Instance are unable to communicate with the North American Platform, and vice versa.
